Gender & Social Justice Lead
Pamela Mwale (She/Her) is a highly interactive and conscientious Social Worker, Gender Justice activist and mental health and well-being advocate with over two years’ experience working towards advancing Sexual and Reproductive Health and Rights and promoting women’s security and bodily autonomy and integrity. Pamela holds a Bachelor’s Degree in Social Science specializing in Social Work from the University of Malawi and holds a certificate in adolescent mental health from the Africa Center of Excellence in Public Health and Medicine (ACEPHEM).
Demonstrating a profound dedication to making a positive impact, her practice background is also centered around hospital social work and community and youth development. Pamela is an Africa Feminist Macroeconomic Academy (AFMA) 2023 Fellow and a devout member of the Association of Social Workers in Malawi. She is the Vice President of the University of Malawi Social Work Alumni Society and a member of the Plan International Malawi Girls Get Equal Steering Committee. Pamela also serves on the board of Girls on the Lead Young Feminist Movement.
