Violet Banda is an international development professional with a Bachelor’s degree in Arts (Humanities) from the University of Malawi. She also holds certificates in public management and governance from the Young African Leadership Initiative (YALI), Project management for change makers from the global change makers, gender sensitive program management from the Academy for International Development (AIZ) and Monitoring and Evaluation from the University of Malawi.

Violet Banda is a passionate and driven feminist data analyst with over five years of experience in data related positions. She is dedicated to using data to promote gender equality and empower marginalized communities. With a keen interest in feminist monitoring and evaluation, she believes in harnessing the power of data to create positive social change and challenge systemic inequalities.Her approach involves developing gender-sensitive indicators, conducting intersectional analyses, and fostering collaboration with stakeholders to guarantee that evaluations capture the intricacies of lived experiences and promote inclusive decision-making. In pursuit of a more equitable world, Violet stands as a catalyst for change, utilizing her skills to dismantle barriers and promote a fair and just society.
