Position

Chisomo Chibwana is a dedicated Gender and Social Inclusion Practitioner with four years of experience in gender transformative projects, community resilience and livelihood initiatives, youth and adolescent sexual and reproductive health and rights and education for health and well-being. She holds a Bachelor of Science in Gender and Development from Lilongwe University of Agriculture and Natural Resources(LUANAR) obtained in 2019.

As an intersectional feminist, Chisomo passionately recognizes the diverse experiences of women and works to address their unique challenges. She is an alumnus of Gender Justice Feminist Leadership Academy and Feminist Macro Economics Alliance in Malawi.

Currently, Chisomo plays a pivotal role in supporting comprehensive organizational programs in economic justice, climate justice, and gender and social justice. Her work involves developing and implementing strategic initiatives that promote gender equality and empower marginalized women.
